Another FO!  Yes - I have finished Frida  - but the pics are still on the camera and the means to down load it is not around right now.  It's interesting looking at the comment that Vaxgirl left in the last message.  From what she has from the designer on her blog, it seems as though there might be a misprint in the instructions as Christina talks about the side panels being in reverse stocking stitch rather than garter stitch, though the instructions clearly talk about garterstitch on magknits as it is now.  Think I'll have to pass this to Kerrie, but if anyone is considering knitting Frida it seems like you have to use the reverse Stocking stitch rather than garter to stick to yarn requirements.  I know that it took me just over 8 skeins of Summer Tweed for my ponch.  WHile the neck is a lot larger than it needs to be it is overcomable with a bit of placement - I'll shopw you in the pic over the weekend. I'm sure that returning to reverse Stocking stitch will make the poncho doable in less yarn.

I know I keep promising pics of the DNA scarf, and they will come over the weekend.  But DH is sleeping where the downloading stuff is, it's gone 11pm and I've finished the first quarter of my school placement.  I love the school I'm at - the kids seem OK, though of course there are a fair share of bad apples, but the staff are sooo supportive.  I've  had more from them in a week than I ever had help at my previous school - so I'm gllad I moved.  A FO and a good week - what more could a gal ask for?
