I know I haven't been around much, but I have been writing up from the teaching practice I did last month, and trying to come up with a few present ideas. 

Jean Greenhowe has always been a favourite of mine - indeed it was her that got me back into knitting.  I had a go at a couple of her tree ornaments for a pressy for a friend who is also a knitter - and they were up to Jean's normal standards. I haven't done one of  her bigger projects for some time now - perhaps in the New Year?
The latest of the scarves is already winging its way over the ocean for my secret pal, and I even designed my first bag using some Lion Brand Thick and Quick that my secret Pal, Sharon sent me.  Thanks Sharon!   It's a little difficult to see on the pic, but the clasp is made of icord with a large fan button that Sharon sent me to fasten it.
