Jean Greenhowe has always been a favourite of mine - indeed it was her that got me back into knitting. I had a go at a couple of her tree ornaments for a pressy for a friend who is also a knitter - and they were up to Jean's normal standards. It isn't the best school in the area by any means and some of the kids are definitely not to be recommended for those of a nervous disposition, but to really be part of a team was something I just didnt feel in the previous placement. Plus a month really gave me chance to make a connection with some of the more reasonable kids and I feel I made a eral difference to some of them. Yes - I have finished Frida - but the pics are still on the camera and the means to down load it is not around right now. It's interesting looking at the comment that Vaxgirl left in the last message. From what she has from the designer on her blog, it seems as though there might be a misprint in the instructions as Christina talks about the side panels being in reverse stocking stitch rather than garter stitch, though the instructions clearly talk about garterstitch on magknits as it is now.
